This senior level professional would oversee 900 Project Based Section 8 Units in the Houston area.?
?
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
?
-Training, managing and motivating property management staff
?
-Accomplish financial objections by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective action
?
-Ensure the delivery of great customer service to residents
?
-Ensure physical guidelines are achieved at each property in accordance with ownership
?
-Manage bids and negotiate contracts
?
-Update job knowledge by participating in education opportunities and professional organizations
?
Qualifications:
?
-Previous supervisory experience in property or affordable housing management is a plus.
?
-Experience being accountable for financials.? Must be able to develop and manage budgets.
?
-Knowledge of guidelines and procedures for Project Based Section 8 Program including Fair Housing, REAC, MOR, EIV and HUD criteria is a plus.
?
-Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and handle pressures of fast paced industry.
?
-Must be detail-oriented, flexible and a self motivator
?
-Strong leadership and communication skills required
